Choose around your panel and production plan.
Single, double and triple layer describe different forming arrangements. Layer count alone does not establish finished output.
Start with the profiles you intend to sell.
List the demand by profile
Record expected quantities, common panel lengths and typical batch sizes. Note how often production changes between profiles and whether orders overlap.
Compare dedicated and shared arrangements
A dedicated path addresses one planned section. Multiple paths let you plan a defined profile range within a shared layout. Compare the actual feeding and operating sequence for each proposal.
Measure finished output
Use m/shift or pieces/shift with the material, hours per shift, common cut lengths and expected coil or profile changes. Forming speed alone leaves cutting, handling, coil changes and profile switching out of the comparison.
Keep floor deck tied to its design.
Identify the deck function
Specify form deck, composite floor deck or roof deck, with its drawing, grade and thickness. Add required side-lap and surface-feature details.
Keep engineering approval separate
The machine specification describes production of a steel section. The completed deck system needs its own structural design.
Compare like for like.
| Parameter | Unit or format | What to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Profile and material | Drawing revision; grade; mm | Confirm the same section and thickness basis in each offer. |
| Production requirement | m/shift or pieces/shift | Keep panel lengths, shifts and cutting cycle consistent. Give hours per shift, common cut lengths and expected coil or profile changes. |
| Line scope | Included / optional / excluded | Review coil handling, forming, cutting and collection equipment. |
| Space and utilities | m; V / Hz / phase | Use a full operating layout rather than machine dimensions alone. |
Agree drawings, material limits, acceptance conditions and commercial terms in writing. Buyers arrange installation, commissioning and maintenance independently.
